What Makes Brush Pickup in Edmond Its Own Kind of Job
Brush are too bulky for the trash cart, too heavy to bag, and a bigger job than most people expect once the pile is actually in front of them. Between spring windstorms and winter ice, yards in Edmond produce more of this debris than almost anywhere in the country.
How we handle it: We pack brush tight in the trailer so you’re not paying to haul air, load everything ourselves — thorns included — and leave the ground raked clean of debris.
From experience: After a windy weekend our schedule fills fast. Call or text early for same-day pickup.
Serving all of Edmond: Edmond is one of OKC's most affluent suburbs with larger homes and frequent furniture upgrades, estate sales, and garage cleanouts. Whether you're in a newer subdivision or an older residential property, we bring the same professional service and upfront pricing to every job in Edmond.
The Problem With a Brush Pile in Edmond
Brush is the worst kind of yard debris. It’s too tangled to bag, too springy to stack, and curbside trash service in the Edmond area won’t touch a loose pile of it. So it sits — drying out, collecting snakes and wasps, and looking worse every month. Burning is often off the table too: county burn bans cover much of the year, and green brush produces more smoke than fire.
We load brush piles for a living. We bring the trailer to the pile, pack it tight so you’re not paying to haul air, and take everything — briars, vines, hedge tear-outs, cedar, the works. One trip and the pile is gone.
Brush We Haul in Edmond
- Shrub and hedge tear-outs, roots and all
- Fence-line and overgrowth clearing piles
- Eastern redcedar — cut cedar branches
- Vines, briars, and thorny tangles (we bring the gloves)
- Storm blowdown and wind-scattered brush
- Lot-cleanup and pre-sale property piles
- Old, dried-out piles that have sat for seasons
- Mixed loads: brush plus limbs, leaves, or general junk in the same trip
What to Do Before We Arrive
Nothing complicated, but a few things speed the job up:
- Nothing is required — we load from wherever the pile sits
- If you can drag everything into one pile near the driveway, the job goes faster (and often cheaper)
- Flag sprinkler heads, hoses, or anything hidden under the pile
- Unlock gates and keep pets inside while we load
- No need to cut anything smaller — we take brush as they are
That’s genuinely it. Most brush pickup jobs in Edmond take us under an hour from pull-up to pull-out.
What Happens to Your Brush
Loads of brush go to green-waste facilities whenever the load allows, where they’re ground into mulch and compost instead of sitting in a landfill. It’s the same place the city’s own crews take storm debris — you just don’t have to borrow a trailer and spend a Saturday doing it yourself.
